Core Technical Principles

• ⁠Electrophoretic capsules – Each pixel contains microcapsules with black (negatively charged) and white (positively charged) particles.
• ⁠Bistability – Once particles move into position, the image stays without power. Energy is only used during updates.
• ⁠Reflective display – No backlight; uses ambient light like real paper.
• ⁠High contrast – Typically 10:1 to 15:1, visually similar to printed text.
• ⁠Wide temperature variants – Industrial modules operate from –15 °C to +60 °C.
